The Tehran Hopkins Club's website has been designed to serve three purposes. Most importantly, the construction of the site is an attempt to outline an Iranian view of English literature, which seems to be a subject to be addressed more often in Iran as English opens its way further into academic and intellectual circles. Second, the site tries to be a showcase of Iranian literary products in English by embracing all the writings penned by the Iranians in English. And finally, our website is hoped to provoke a social gathering of the Iranians fond of English literature to get in touch, to exchange thoughts, and to be read by the world.
